Renegade Wine Co. Horse Heaven Hills Red Wine 2008
While the name and label may be familiar, this is not the same wine I wrote about several months ago. That was a Columbia Valley appellation wine while this one comes from the more specific Horse Heaven Hills appellation. There is another major difference; as good as the CV bottling was this wine is even better. Master blender Trey Busch does not divulge where the juice comes from but based on our tasting this wine was likely originally intended to be more like a $20-$25 bottle.
